I am a creator and designer of fabulous handmade cloth dolls. I have been sewing dolls for over 15 years and still learning new techniques and ideas. I love making all types of dolls; primitive, grungy prims, raggedy, to fun whimsy ones and of course fancy dressed dollies. My dolls are all made from patterns or my own design--such fun

Last veggies of the Garden
Oh my gosh, picking the last of the garden today. Chance of snow flakes by the end of the week. Got a ton of peppers. I did not know there were so many left. Have a few winter squash to pick too. Time of the comfort food again. Chili or maybe stuffed peppers will be on the menu this week for sure.

Sarah's Bride doll
Sarah sent me a picture of the whole bride doll so I could post it. Now you can see the whole doll. The pattern used was by Kate Erbach.

Old pictures
When going through my pictures for the Owls, I found a head picture for a bride doll I did last April for a good friend that was getting married and loves dolls. I also had a picture of the bouquet I made out of buttons. Unfortunately, for some reason I did not take one of the whole doll. Duh! My brain was must not have been working well that day. Sarah had given me the idea of the bouquet when she was talking about finding the bouquets on etsy for brides, and how she fell in love with them.
Owl swap with Finnie
I found a box at my door on Friday. Two cute owls jumped out when I opened it at brought me an Owl hand towel. They were from Finnie, from Kentucky, as part of a fall swap from my group "All Things Primitive". I sat them on my couch and when the sun warmed them the whole room smelled of vanilla. The towel now resides in my kitchen as part of my fall decorations.

Whooo Whooo the suns out!
Maybe the rain is over! The sun sure looked good today after almost five days of rain. I am finally in the mood to do some sewing.
I will be working on a couple of dollies. One is a Prim that will be going to Australia and the other a mermaid for a friend. The mermaid will take me awhile because she wants lots of beads on it.
Mean while I am sorting through my fabrics. I did not know I had so much. I had better do some quilts this winter to use some of it up. A lot of it is my " hate to use fabric because it is so pretty". I had better start to or some one else might get to.

Soggy Weekend
Fall has arrived this past weekend. Rain, rain, and more rain, typical Ohio fall weather. The leaves are just starting to turn. I hope we have some beautiful fall days ahead. I was hoping to go to some fall festival and craft shows over the weekend, but did not venture out.
